A Trip to the Beach

Several years ago, my friends and I felt bored because of the job. Therefore, we decided to go to the beach near my friend’s home. Fortunately, there were two foreign tourists who came from US visited our school. Then, they agreed with us to have a trip to “Pidakan” beach. It needed more than thirty five minutes to get there.

When we arrived at the beach, we were glad to see the sceneryZack and Arthur, both of Americans having a quick dip in the ocean while joking. I and my friends had no any courage to do the same, so that we just looked around the beach at that time.

The scenery was very beautiful. White stone was a unique characteristics which “Pidakan “beach had. There were a lot of shells, octopus, and kinds of sea seeds there. We enjoyed them very much.
We had eaten snacks and chips we brought from our home, while toke a rest by sitting and lying at the edge of the beach, exactly on the grass like savanna.  When we felt enough in exploring there, we went to my friend’s house that was placed about 200 meters from the beach. There, we had meals. It was very delicious. Arthur and Zack also had lunch with us. Their expression indicated that they felt satisfied.

At that time, Arthur and Zack had a new experience. It was they knew the chips named “kolong”. It was funny to hear they spell “kolong” K-O-L-O-N-G. Uhuy. The intonation was awkward, different from ours’ Hmmm. But, I appreciated their motivation to learn more about Javanese and Indonesian. Oh, my God…

The time for praying ashar came. We were moslem, so we prayed first before went home by car. It was an unforgettable experience we had. We hope we would got occasion to have a trip with foreigners again.
That’s all…
